A Huntsville man was arrested Wednesday after state investigators executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing child exploitation investigation, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency announced.
Nathan P. Desmond, 24, was charged with three counts of possession with intent to disseminate child sexual abuse material following the warrant, which was carried out by special agents with ALEA's State Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Desmond was booked into Madison County Jail with a $15,000 bond.
ALEA said no additional details are available while the investigation remains active. Once complete, findings will be turned over to the Madison County District Attorney's Office.
The ICAC Task Force works to investigate crimes involving the online exploitation of children, including the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.
