Regretting You co-stars Mason Thames and McKenna Grace have finally tackled dating rumors, appearing to confirm their heavily speculated relationship.
The two shared a lot of on-screen chemistry during their time as love interests in the movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel Regretting You, which premiered in October 2025. This Wednesday (February 18), Mason and McKenna appeared to confirm they were a couple with the photos of them looking cozy in love that were shared on Mason's Instagram account.
Mason caught him and McKenna parading around Paris, France together in the many photos included in his dump on the social media platform. One of the shots even showed the 19-year-old actress kissing Mason, 18, on the cheek in front of the famed Eiffel Tower.

Mason didn't outright address the attention-grabbing picture in his caption, but McKenna cheekily quipped, “This is my favorite post.. for unbiased reasons.”
Reddit users were swift to address Mason's post, with one sharing in a thread on the platform, “I thought they were already officially dating at that point" while another remarked, “This is old news, right??”
Someone else shared, “All of their interviews together for Regretting You were so cute. Glad they’re happy together!” and another noted, “I’m jealous but also this is the best timeline. All of their interviews together were so sweet.”
Fans began theorizing that Mason and McKenna were actually dating after they observed them being flirty with each other off-screen.
A TikTok video of the item doing a trend where Mason grabbed McKenna's face and kissed her on the lips was a clip that fueled relationship rumors.
Then when they started sharing more social media posts of them hanging out together, raving over each other in interviews, and holding hands during public sightings, it seemed to serve as confirmation of their romantic involvement.
Also, Mason revealed to People that he and McKenna improvised “a lot of kisses” while they filmed their romantic comedy.
“She’s so funny and such a nice person, so she gels with everybody,” Mason said of McKenna. Mason and McKenna were announced to be the leads for Regretting You in September 2024. Also starring in the film was, Dave Franco, Allison Williams, Scott Eastwood, and Willa Fitzgerald.
However, the couple reportedly initially met in an Uber way before filming started in March of last year, with Mason telling People that his first meeting with McKenna was “so funny and so awesome,” and that they “just clicked immediately.”
