Middle Eastern Female Filmmakers At Filmmor
The 14th International Filmmor Women’s Film Festival on Wheels, which will meet with moviegoers at Pera Museum, Italian Cultural Center, Aynalı Geçit and Istanbul Modern between March 12-20, will feature women’s cinema in the Middle East and North Africa in a special collective screening.

At the festival, films from a geography stretching from Jordan to Iran will be screened under the title of Women’s Cinema in the Middle East and North Africa. In the section where 9 films will be screened and an interview will be held, Iranian Sepideh Farsi’s Red Rose, One of the Thousands by Baran M. Reihani, which tells the story of girls who have dreamed of weaving carpets in Iran since their childhood, and Nina Khada’ Fatima, in which s follows the traces of her grandmother who was exiled from Algeria to France, Nahid, in which Ida Panahandeh tells the story of a woman caught between being a mother and a woman in Iran, Diana, which tells the story of Sahrawi women who were exiled from Morocco to the Sahara Desert in the 70s Coria and the Sea by Nava, by Pascale Berson-Lecuyer from Jordan to France Fatima’s Republic films will meet with the audience
