(NEXSTAR) – The Super Bowl has finally arrived, which means we’re bound to see some historic, eye-catching, and all-out unbelievable moments. At least one happened before the game even began.
As players entered Levi’s Stadium, there was one that was hard to miss: New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins.
If you did miss it, you can see it in the photo below. Hollins, 32, arrived in an apparent prison uniform and a Hannibal Lecter-style face mask, with handcuffs and leg irons. He was, of course, barefoot. Hollins has become well-known for arriving without shoes on, regardless of the weather.
Hollins has worn some out-of-the-ordinary pre-game fits, including some odd options when he was with the Buffalo Bills last season:
In addition to being barefoot, Hollins on Sunday was seen carrying a jersey that doesn’t match either his Patriots or their opponents, the Seattle Seahawks.
Instead, it was that of his coach, Mike Vrabel. More specifically, the team told local reporters, it’s a jersey from Vrabel’s high school, Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Hollins was drafted in 2017 by the Philadelphia Eagles. He has since played for the Miami Dolphins, the Las Vegas Raiders, the Atlanta Falcons, the Bills, and now the Patriots.
