The Gist

  • Gisele Bündchen married Joaquim Valente in an intimate ceremony on December 3 in Surfside, Florida.
  • On February 7, just over two months later, the supermodel showed off her wedding ring for the first time during a Miami bike ride.
  • Joining her for the outing was her 1-year-old son with Valente, whose first name has still never been publicly revealed.

Just over two months after Gisele Bündchen married Joaquim Valente in a small, private ceremony at their home in Surfside, Florida, the supermodel stepped out wearing her wedding ring.

Bündchen wore a simple gold band on her left ring finger as she enjoyed a bike ride in Miami on February 7 with her 1-year-old son, whose first name has never been publicly revealed. The little guy just celebrated his first birthday last month, and joins siblings Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, whom Bündchen shares with her ex-husband Tom Brady.

The supermodel wore a white sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, a white baseball cap, and gold earrings as she enjoyed time outdoors. Though her 1-year-old’s name has never been publicly revealed, his middle name is reportedly River, and she might have hinted at the first initial of his first name when wearing a necklace with “J,” “B,” “V,” and “A” pendants—for Joaquim, Benjamin, Vivian, and presumably her youngest child, whose first name likely begins with an “A.”

To celebrate her youngest’s first birthday in January, Bündchen posted a tribute filled with several photographs to Instagram, including a snap of her son sitting on a toy pony with a “Happy Birthday” balloon next to him.

“I can’t believe it’s already been over a year since you came to bless our lives,” she wrote. “Thank you, God, for so much❤️ 🙏.”

Just days after marrying Valente on December 3, the supermodel shared a message of gratitude for all that 2025 was—which included not just her marriage but also the birth of her third child. “As the new year unfolds, my heart is full of gratitude for the moments spent recharging with my family,” she wrote. “May this year bring you love, health, peace, and new adventures. May you find the courage to honor your heart’s calling and to know and love yourself more deeply.”

In another Instagram post, Bündchen wrote, “Thank you, 2025. I step into this new year with gratitude, love, and trust for what’s next❤️🙏🏼✨.”

“As 2025 comes to an end, my heart is full,” she added. “This year brought deep lessons and profound growth. Becoming a mother again reshaped everything—my time, my priorities, my heart. I’m grateful for these sacred moments that changed me in ways words can’t fully hold.”

Bündchen’s wedding late last year to the jiu-jitsu instructor came as a surprise to many, but the couple decided to keep their nuptials intentionally small because “Gisele is tired of all the attention on her private life,” a source told People.

The two “are both so happy being together, and being new parents it was what they wanted to do,” the insider added. “They are best friends with a lot in common and are so excited about everything.”

“Gisele just wants to do things her own way,” the source shared. “And a small, private, non-event was what she wanted.” The insider added that “Gisele is happy and in love, and getting married was in her plans—the timing just had to be right. She didn’t want anything over the top or made public so they could enjoy the day, each other, and the family.”

“Everything has fallen into place for her, and she is fulfilled,” the source continued. “Those close to her are so happy for her. Getting married was right.”

Of life in Miami, “Her life is filled with her kids, her loving family, and work, but it is more manageable,” a source said. “She is happy being married again, happy being a mom, and happy in her environment.”

Bündchen and Valente first sparked dating rumors in June 2023, eight months after her divorce from Brady in October 2022. The pair were friends first before dating, and “Joaquim came into her life at a moment when she was already ready for a slower, more grounded life,” a source said. “The two were friends before their relationship turned romantic, and the connection developed naturally over time.”

“His calm, low-key approach to life fits with where she is now,” the insider added. “She’s focused on family, balance, and well-being.” Bündchen, the source said, is “very, very happy” and “loves the life she built in Florida. She’s focused on family, home life, and a slower pace. She’s selective about work and prioritizes creating a peaceful environment for her children.”

Of her bike ride Saturday with her youngest, it is reflective of what she told Vogue France last May when the supermode said, “I feel truly grateful—being able to be home with my kids and enjoy every moment with them is priceless.”

“Being with my family, especially when we can do outdoor activities together,” she added of her favorite way to spend the day. “Spending time with them is what makes me happiest.”
